Your Instructor:

Prof Rakesh Ranjan Ojha, is a well known expert from the Bioinformatics field. He is currently working as an Asst Prof. in the Department of Bioinformatics, BJB Autonomous college, Odisha , a well known renowned premier educational institute in Eastern India.

He has completed his Bachelor degree in science with Physics as his major subject, after then he completed his master degree program in Bioinformatics under utkal university. He has also completed his M.Phil program in Bioinformtics, under Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha. H is e currently working as a Asst Prof in Dept. of Bioinformatics, BJB Autonomous College from last 11 years. Apart from teaching he has guided more than 500 students in their dissertation project. In spite of being a student of physics, he was able to excel in the Biopython in Bioinformatics. And became an expert in multiple field of bioinformatics and on numerous bioinformatics tools and software. He is very well versed in both theoretical and applied concept of some central bioinformatics topics like Molecular Phylogenetics, Molecular Docking, Molecular Modelling along with these he has expertise in Perl and Python programming languages. He is currently perusing Master Program on "Data Science".


Due to his excellent way of deliverance and in-depth subject knowledge, he has been invited many times as a chief resource person and keynote speaker in many national level Bioinformatics workshop/seminar.
